Do most lorry drivers realise what men in lay-bys are doing ? Had one behind me the other night. Do they go to them on purpose or just part of the job ? Interested in opinions .

Some park there deliberately because they enjoy the activity and others because they just want somewhere to park up for the night as a lorry driver myself I never park in them unless I need to take a break in the day but am 1 that loves the activity

I tend to park overnight in cruising lay-bys if I can not only for the fun but if it's a busy one it's safer and less chance of having the diesel taken.

Most truck drivers get to know the best places but unfortunately they are getting harder to find.

Not sure but I was waiting for someone who agree to meet at Cholsey Layby and a lorry drive in front of my car knock my window at midnight and I was shut scared because it was dark and surprised from where the hell he came, and he was aware I was not wearing any bottom ,but I mostly see them sleeping at layby never interact then other than this incident..

Sheffield/Doncaster area is very well renowned for getting diesel nicked so most trucks go into services or truckstops.
