The reason people warn of animals in transit is because they will likely be driving slower and braking gently over longer distances, leaving a bigger distance to the vehicle in front and not accelerating rapidly so as not to upset the animals onboard. People are prone to road rage in these situations if they don’t understand the reasons for it.
