I've just collected my first prescription of 50mg Sildenafil from chemist.

Anyone tell me what to expect when I take the first tablet?

I know what I want to happen!

Takes up to an hour to take effect if you are aroused. Can get flushes in the face and chest and some people get headaches. Surprised you got a prescription for 50 mg straight off, I'm on 25mg.

It works for me , and lasts forever, I take mine about four hours before sex , get a little heartburn but not a problem.

Thats what I hoped you would say. Phew!lol.

Doctor said he would start me at the 50mg dose. 100mg being the highest and 25mg being the lowest dose.

The only other thing he said was not to take it immediately after a full meal!

You may also experience visual colour distortion with everything taking on a bluish tint. It is nothing to worry about and passes once the drug wears off.

The reason they say don't take after a meal is that it doesn't get into your blood as effectively. Better on an empty stomach. Lovely thick hard on an hour later. Good luck!

I’m on daily tadalafil 5mg. I can get hard whenever I need to. Only side effect is horrible back pain when I first started, but it subsided once my body got used to it.

This is true for me too. Tiny headache for a while, but other than that great. Go for 20mg though. I found it much more useful than 10mg.

Do NOT use those smelly bottles though when taking it. Bad for your health!

The dosage is prescribed depending on blood tests, health assessment/examination and body functions.

It doesn't work automatically unless sexually aroused.

Different people have different side effects.

Common side effects are feeling flush, headache etc.

I find a half or even a third of a 50mg tablet works for me. Try cutting one in half, and what the effect is after 45 - 60 mins

I find even a quarter of a tablet is sufficient for me. Equal to 25mg. It takes about 20-30 mins to work. It lasts for hours for me. It is even still effective for me in the morning if Ive taken it after 8 pm. Often therefore good for sloppy seconds after a late fuck.
