I just don't think I'm attractive to other guys, I want to please them so I've decided it's diet time

It’s always best to be in the best shape you can be. As long as you’re happy with the way you look, that’s all that matters

High protein, low carb. Difficult to adjust to begin with as you miss all those starchy things, but after a week you'll get into the pattern. Weight will shift. Eggs are your friend. Good luck.

Good luck with it! You can do it. I recently went on a diet, advised by doctor. I cut out high fat cheeses, sugary drinks and sweets, red meat. Are lots of vegetables, soups, salads every dinner. Had chicken turkey healthy fats. Went on 5km walks every other day. And I lost 20 kilos in the space of four months.

Exercise a few times a week and cut down on carbs.

But do it because you want to.

Not to please guys.

Guys think we are sexy, if we think we are sexy. The ones who want us because we are vulnerable and desperate for approval are probably best to avoid?

Having said that I don't follow my own advice here! It's hard to find a cd who doesn't crave the desire of others!

Good luck with your efforts. Nothing wrong with your body so dont think you arent attractuve how you are.

Lose weight for health reasons as your eyes will always be critical and dont thinknof it as a diet you are going to come off of once you reach your goal. Its much better to recognise that some foods will be very rarely be on the menu again...if you can get your head around that then you stand a much better chance 🤞

All of the above. Do it for yourself, not others.

Just because you don’t think you are attractive to others doesn’t mean you are. Different people are attracted to different “types”. As for loosing weight you should do this for yourself not for others. If it helps your own self confidence and health then all well and good, but do it for yourself. Just think about those who suffer with anorexia or Bulimia because of low self esteem or to try to get others to like them more - and all the medical and mental health problems those conditions cause.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As many have said here, if you think you need to lose weight go ahead and better yourself. However, don't think you are unattractive.

I'm a chunky fella and spent 7.5yrs with a what I'd consider a really handsome 6'3" Filipino guy, who played basketball and had abs! In one of those intimate Sun morning conversations having cuddles he admits to me he loved how I made him feel. There was always soft cuddle and no boney bits. Lots of snacks! And a jiggle that really used to get him going.

I share because he loved nearly everything I didn't

Mate, don’t expose your vulnerabilities in this forum, there are some surprisingly nasty people online and with the lack of face to face accountability that this forum provides, they will make you miserable. By all means diet if you want to but also work on your self esteem too (check out cbt … no Cognitive Behaviour Therapy or Stoicism for a start).

Your profile suggests that you are submissive, please remember that does not mean that you are anybody’s doormat. Good luck 👍🏻
