The ones round the corner from Kings Cross station were brilliant shame they both closed. Been to the Foxy Lady in Bliston near Walsall and pleased its back open. Just need to find time to go again now

Fantasy Video in London and Taboo in Birmingham were great, when they closed I discovered Empire Cinema in Huddersfield which does not have the same level of sleaze as FV and Taboo but is nevertherless brilliant, and is now my go-to venue.

Lived in Kings Cross in the early 90’s so spent a lot of time on way back from work in Abacat cine club and sometimes Oscars. Played with a lot of older guys in them. Really miss that venue, anyone else went there?

I don't know of any still open now. If there are they are probably very up market and vanilla. The old sleaze has gone and the furtive checking over your shoulder to see who might be watching etc is a thing of the past.

The old sleazy ways aren't always the worst and I do miss them a little 👌👌👌👌
