I remember when I was much younger and my only real opportunity to see cock at the time was the pool change room. I recall thinking how wonderful it would be if a place existed where I could have a look and a play in that setting without having to hide it or be afraid of getting caught looking.
I was very happy to shed that naivety when I realised that saunas and cottaging areas exist. Of course men created such places lol. And it literally opened up my world and my understanding of myself, through interactions with others.
A few years passed and I discovered some bars and events that are male only. my first venture into a regular gay bar was a surreal experience. I ended up kissing this 21 YO guy and his female best friend. I didn't even think or care to look around at who was watching. I felt comfortable in that space.
Eventually I discovered a male only leather bar that regularly hosts events. You take your clothes off once inside and get into your event clothing. For most guys it's just a jock strap and some leather. For me it was a jock strap and football socks. I still own it, there's a public photo on my profile. Sometimes they do nude events.
Anyway, once inside I went for a piss. There was a guy just sitting in the urinal asking people to piss on him, not a care in the world. I spent most of the night in the beer garden, getting chatted up by various other men. There was a bandage demonstration where a guy was blindfolded and tied up like a human hammock in the beer garden. I went to the "dark room", a corner of the pub for wanking , fucking and everything in between. I had a bit of a play and it was incredibly liberating.
At Halloween, this past weekend, I went to a big nightclub that was a similar event. Had some drinks, made some friends, danced wearing barely any clothing, laughed and just had a great time.
At one point I went to the "dark area" a huge room with just naked men everywhere in various states of sex... neon lights.. music.
I had the sudden realisation of how different my life became over the years. Of how ignorant I was, through no real fault of my own, that these type of events exist and how much fun you can have when you're not constantly monitoring your mannerisms, or your behaviour incase someone judges you. It is a very liberating experience and I highly advise that guys try some sort of event like this.
I suppose, I'm posting this to spread the word. As a bi man I was clueless to gay culture for a long time. Maybe an event like this would interest you?. Participate in dark room activities as little or as much as you want. Just go chat and hang out in the nude if you want.
I'm currently booking a nudist camping weekend up in the mountains for January (it's summer here).nudism is another thing I released I loved. Sex aside, just Hanging out in the nip with other men, doing man things is incredibly liberating.
