As a normally easy going fella I can't shake off a feeling of Impending doom this yule FFS lol 🤣🤣.

There is so much more shite than normal going on

The world is mad, our politicians are madder, everyone hates everyone else aaaarrrrgggghhhh 🙈🙈🙈.

I know STFU and pour another drink but it just seems to me (and I'm not religious : far from it) that Armageddon is just smirking around the corner 😈😈😈😈.

Have fun everyone and a great holiday xxx

Well, given the escalation in conflict and strife everywhere one looks, it's not difficult to have this feeling of foreboding. You're not alone in this, I can assure you , but you've got to tey and think positively, difficult or incongruous as it might seem, it helps

Just don t let it take over, talking from experience, though not on the international front. It can creep into your very fabric, silently, like a cancer and once it settles in it can be a bastard to get out. Just ignore the world the way it ignores us and just live day to day, tis what it is

A ‘sense of impending doom’ used to be one of the signs of a potential heart attack or embolism or other major medical emergency.

You’ll find most doom ridden situations are not in the UK and your own bubble is very safe. (“Is it safe?”) so you could avoid watching the news for starters, reduce news on social media and find something worthwhile and pleasurable to do to take your mind off all the shit going on in the world these days.

It very easy to get loaded down with all that's happening in the World at the moment and the feeling that you can't do anything to correct it. Not so easy to clear that mind set.

One thing I do this time of year is to read the Christmas Carol from start to finish, it's a great distraction.

This is very sage advice.

Avoiding the FabGuys Forum might help too as to many threads here are emotionally histrionic and irrational and doom-laden.
