Just go very slow to start and definitely only use actual sounding rods. I’ve just bought some silicone ones which should be a bit for forgiving due to their flexibility…. Oh and sanitise before playing!!!!

Give it a go, it's wonderful.

I would echo what others have said, cleanliness is key. And use plenty of sterile lube, not just any lube you have laying around, and drink plenty before so you can pee after.

Take it slow and gentle, and just short sessions to start with, with a few days between each session.

I much prefer stainless steel sounds to silicone, the cheaper silicone ones are very rough and grippy.

Don't go too small, I find the thinner sounds to pointy and less comfortable, I started out with a 5mm one, but it will be different for everyone

I would get a set of what are known as guyon sounds from Amazon, and some sterile lube, give everything a good clean (the sounds and your cock) get yourself relaxed and give it a go.

It my take a bit of time of sitting there holding the sound before you get the courage to pop it in, and it will feel odd and possibly a bit uncomfortable to start, but once you get to that point you will want to keep going

Hygiene is important to avoid urinary track infections, I've had one in the past and it not nice.

If you are using stainless steel sounds before use put the sounds in some boiling water and let them cool off, use clean kitchen towel to dry them.

Get some sachets of sterile lube (eg from Amazon)

wash your hands

and then

have some gentle ertic fun
