My femme persona developed over time and it was probably in uni where I gave myself my first name - mia (after a story I read online) I have been sara, lauren, tabitha and melissa since but settled on melanie maybe 10 years ago as it felt right. I think that is it you will know when a name feels right for you it might be linked to a past experience or relationship it might not.

Mine came from a natural progression of my real name Peter, if its followed in translations you arrive at stone or rock, in Greek that is Petra, another easier route is Petra is the female equivalent of Peter xx
