Suit trousers are made of lighter, finer material than regular trousers. Boxers may bunch up at the legs thus spoiling the line of the suit, apparently. This can be avoided by wearing briefs.

Nonsense, wear microfibre boxers and that will stop a visible line in your suit trousers.
