…is the title of a book about the evolution of human sexuality. Wondering if anyone has read it?
If not, I recommend it.
2 key takeaways I found compelling:
1) we are an inherently promiscuous species, and probably shared multiple partners in prehistoric social groups.
2) Female sexuality stays flexible through their lives. Male sexuality is fluid only for a brief early period of development and then tends to fix. Apparently our general sexual interests don’t change much through life.
Yes, I've read it. It's a great reference book. I often re read some paragraphs. I love an anthropological view of sex, as most of what we learned are cultural and religious views of sex and intimacy.
