Actually that’s still up for debate really … the council changed the name to Derry council , but the official name remained Londonderry and that was confirmed in a high court decision in 2007. But most people call it Derry on a day to day basis including many in unionist community I know who live here .

As I don’t mind what people call it … what I hate is people feeling need to “correct” someone
