What’s people’s perception of what ‘athletic’ description in a profile should be?

It’s sometimes confusing when the pic doesn’t match what I expected……

Yes, very true. You need to see the photos to make up your own mind if the images match with the profile description.

Athletic suggests lean, toned, and no fat.

It may even have been true when they joined the site 8 years ago but now their description and photo no longer reflect reality.

Agree fully!

Just because someone can haul their bulky self around a golf course, lift a couple of slabs, or struggle through a game of five a side does not, IMHO, mean they are an athlete!

I consider myself average but, apparently, borderline obese is now the average…
