A lot of people assume guys on prep are totally safe and it has already been said it only gives protection against HIV so other STIs are still transmissible. The good thing about lads on prep is that they have to test ( I think every 3mths) to get their prescription so at least that’s reassuring. I think the gold standard for protection is probably Prep and condoms.

The way I've been told is take it all the time to suppress HIV detectable or one 2 hours before a meet and one the next day at the same time, it's called event taking. I could be wrong, someone out there will correct me if I'm wrong.

Also as far as I’m aware to the op you need to take 2 of them 2 hours before sex and one each day for the next 2 days after…otherwise take one everyday if you are getting fucked regularly
