It's just the nature of the "game" to be honest. Ireland is rural, even in the city, as soon as you get away from the city centre it starts to go quiet online.

Many of the guys are closeted or married and need a few things to be in place before they can meet due to other commitments, particularly in the age range that you prefer.

Also, that makes them more likely to be time wasters unfortunately as their plans get derailed easily.

Additionally, with the plethora of other apps, it's easier now for people to find a hookup or block and move on (cruising apps are quite popular again). Guys are more choosey. The bear body type doesn't appeal to everyone just like my body type doesn't. We're left with a shallow pool of potential playmates

It's honestly, one of the main reasons I moved abroad.

I think part of the problem is your profile doesn’t mention that you can accommodate occasionally. That could get you more meets if you mention that as accommodation is a general problem for lots of guys(myself included)
