Even funnier is UK citizens protesting against immigration when the UK plundered and pillaged the lands from which the immigrants originated. Not to mention the murder of millions in pursuit of Empire.

Ok so you’re a staunch supporter of all the asylum seekers that were in tents along the grand canal and around Dublin City centre is it?

May I just ad, when the Irish emigrated all those yrs back, they worked morning, noon, and night, just to try survive. Nowadays when non nationals (not all) arrive in Ireland, there being treated like royalty, thanks to the Irish government, who in fact is taking orders from Brussels. Everyone has a right to live and to be treated properly, but on irish soil, Irish 1st, for gods sake.

So being a recipient of charity makes you a bad person now? Jaysus!

It’d be best if we all just focused on the fact that in advanced economies there’s an unspoken acceptance that certain jobs trap you in poverty. You’ll never make a decent or living wage working them. The only reason immigrants are an issue is because that subset of labour is expanding to include traditionally middle class jobs. People need to stop fighting over peanuts. We’ve got 50,000+ millionaires and a budget surplus. We just need increased investment and efficient redistribution. It’s not rocket science. Just emulate the societies that have their house in order.
