Why do ppl text you then they go off line frustrating especially when your trying to talk if your going off line just and wait till you can come back on to text or at least have the manners to say you won't be on line for the next period of time chat later etc etc

I'd say look out for a couple of things in this instance. Profile is often less than 1hr old and I think these are spammers. You'll often find you'll message too and it goes unread when they're still online.

I just delete and move on. Look out for the generic profile to of gay man looking to meet gay men.

It's a regular occurrence here. What is the point in messaging someone if you can't wait even for a couple of minutes for a reply.

Sometimes (often!) life interferes and you have to go offline.

Life doesn't revolve around Fabguys even though one might want it too.

Whilst I love getting messages, I now treat them with a pinch of salt as I've had people hide their profile, go offline ,block me or read the message and then just not reply.

There's life, rudeness and ignorance

It’s very frustrating and generally I find it is with people who initiate the conversation in the first place and then they just ghost you!

If I’m going off line I always say so and if I get a message while I’m offline I always reply when I get back online and apologise for my tardy reply. Manners go a long way!

Yeah it’s more than just family members turning up. And it happens on all the apps. It’s often preceded by less than engaging messages which should tell you something. As they say, no reply is a reply.

Spot on. Fab guys is a site not someone's life and life comes first. I can be as polite as possible but sometimes life, work, circumstances mean a routine can change quickly. Have some patience and/or gumption FFS.
