So do you manage the risk of riding the wife and having sex with another guy. This came to light when I got a message from a fella saying he was getting test because he suspected he had something, I didn’t ride her for a month until I cleared a test. Just wondering what others do?

I don't feel I have ever caught something from another guy, but so as not to risk it, I just don't have sex with my wife anymore. To be honest, I think she is more than happy with that arrangement now as she had gone off it since menopause anyway. just my take on it at my age. but being younger you are right not to put her in any danger.

It's my biggest single issue with playing... It appears that unless you play with someone who is confirmed clear, then it's Russian Roulette for oral sex, anal may be safer with condom.

I don't know, I've asked guys this question several times and never received an clear answer. Playing with anyone other than your regular partner is a huge gamble.

Please, if there's a safe way I'd love to know about it

Prep will prevent hiv but everything else is a huge gamble.

I got Chlamydia from a meet once but at the time the wife was completely anti sex so I had time to detect and clear it with anti-biotics. (2 wks)

I felt something wasn't right while pissing but it's not always obvious.

I've had tests since for hiv and all clear.

I want to play, I'd love to suck and be sucked, love to be fucked too... But, when I think about it.... If that guy played with ten others and each of them played with ten then that's the equivalent risk of playing with 100 guys for me... And if I work that logic forward, then I'm exposed to 1,000 and 10,000 guys.... I really want to play but it's just a matter of luck as to whether I pick up something or not. I’ve been through the did I catch something scenario and Jesus was that not a fun week or so. All clear in the end but lost a lot of sleep.

All good advice and id add, get tested regularly. The HSE does testing for free, they post the kits to your house and you just send them back. If you can't risk having them sent to your gaff, the online doctor services will post kits for a fee to services like those parcel lockers in some lidl stores. The HSE won't post the free kits to those generic addresses which is a total shame. Knowledge is power, take the test

That's not a guarantee that you are safe.

The last time I'd sex, I've met the guy through here. We're kind of neighbours on the North side of Dublin.(living on the same long street but couple kms apart).

A very handsome married man.

We did use protection, and I ended up with 'lice'.

Either, she's out there and can't play the blame game as she could habe git from him or another person.
