I think its quite normal to find, as you chat to someone, that you are not compatible. And I am sure a lot of guys will appreciate the acknowledgement. Most don't bother.

But surely going forward its easier to just say your interests aren't compatible and move on?

There is a profile messaging me who is clearly not compatible with me but every now and again he'll message like this in the hope I will have changed my stance on outdoor fun. Then when I say not into outdoors, he blanks all messages. Til about 3 weeks time when he will try again lol!
