"A huge insult to actual mothers though. A trans with a beard advertised in a Mother’s Day promo I love trans but they ain’t mothers. " And this is how rumours start - he is NOT trans - he’s a guy who puts up humorous skits on Instagram - like the panto dame that’s being doing the rounds for years - & he did one for Dublin Zoo & people got very excited over it !!!

"I regretted posting this immediately cause I was annoyed by the tirade against the performer online and wouldn’t want to promote hate towards the person in the ad. Turns out it’s quite difficult to delete forum posts. “I love trans but they aren’t mothers” etc… absolutely idiotic. The person in the advert is well known for playing a character that is a typical Irish mother. Similar to Mrs Browns Boys. There would be zero backlash if it was Brendan O Carroll. It’s nothing to do with Trans people. Anyone on here with that mindset needs to take a hard look in the mirror. The right leaning people need to stop being so offended by everything. " well said

"It’s storm in a teacup. People love to be upset and angry over every little thing these days. He is a performer with a huge following on social media and tv, and it was played for fun. The main part is “Mothers go free” on Mother’s Day, and that’s the bit people should be focusing on!" all the god fearing mammies are going balistic
