I recently had a coffee with a member from another site. He wanted bi guy for a meet with his girlfriend.I mentioned that I'm a member on here as I knew he was too . The following day I got an email saying he'd looked at my profile and didn't want to see or talk to me again as he thought the people that verified me had been on here for years and had too many verifications.

I know it's his choice and good luck too him however it seems you're damned if you have verifications and damned if you don't. Needless to say I won't be showing my verifications in future

I think that guy was wrong, and suspect he was using that as an excuse because he didnt have the guts or manners to tell you he didnt want to meet again😳 Please be careful not to let one person's wrong view dictate what your actions should be. I'd imagine the majority of genuine, decent people value positive veris - I certainly do! 😎

If you let your own choice of actions be dictated by the weird reactions of someone else, then I’m afraid I think you are a fool, sir.

A second party who starts trying to make judgments based on your interactions with a third party or parties and thereby is trying to analyse the third parties’ interactions with yet more people is, put simply, a nutcase. It shows a weird psychopathic tendency to control other people’s behaviour to fit in with their ideals. And what would be the logic behind his observations..? You’ve met some people who have been on the site for a long time and have verifications..? The implications are what… a massive insecurity over people knowing each other and privacy/discretion issues..? A massive insecurity over sexual health issues..? Basically: a massive insecurity. And you don’t know what the truth is. He may have seen someone they met on another profile that could tell you what a weirdo he is and didn’t want that to come out. You’d only spoken on line and then met for a coffee - you hadn’t had sex - but he now can’t even “speak” to you again. Why are your antennae not whirring: this guy is utterly batshit.

Nothing is 100%, but I would think that a few verifications from long-standing, active members is good.

Don't change your profile in any way, just to suit others.
