To be fair they never really gave a timeline before , the guy in the shop just said they hoped to be open again. Now the shop is fully closed if they didn’t plan to open again I’d assume they’d just say that .

Sounds like the delay is about the granting of the fire cert, which can take weeks after the work is actually done. Nothing the owner can do about it, not enough fire officers in city council to review everything as quickly as people might like. Patience.
