OK I'm Scottish but I'm posting on this page because I've just watched Peelers on BBC2 about the Northern Irish Police Force, and everyone seems to hate Stephen Nolan in Northern Ireland.

He's completely unknown in mainland UK, why do you all hate him?

I saw a couple of episodes last year when he was presenting a programme about life in a Northern Irish prison, and he didn't seem well liked on that either.

He started here as a radio DJ and he's done a late night talk show. He is very antagonistic and argumentative about his position on things. They make for a very arrogant personality.

I haven't watched him in ages, but I don't overly mind him. Take it all with a pinch of salt, after all he is a tv/radio perosnality. They'll sell their soul for the story, right?
