Alex coughlan murder

I'm posting a link from X. It claims that he was gay and perhaps killed for this. I've copied the post from X.

Let’s be honest and try to piece together what happened to Alex Coughlan based on evidence available so far.

Alex Coughlan was punched and kicked until he was un conscious on May 17th. He died three days later on May 20th.

Those responsible for killing him we are told are two sixteen year olds. Due to our child criminal protection laws, nothing more is known about them officially.

The social media story is that they are both non Irish teenagers. There is also a suggestion that they lured Alex Coughlan to his death and killed him because he was gay. This to me would suggest murder rather than manslaughter.

If these two boys lured Alex Couglan to meet in a quiet lane with the intention of murdering him because he was gay, it is a monstrous hate crime totally alien to our culture. Similar has happened before in Sligo and the mainstream media covered it up as much as possible.

Official Ireland is now deafening by its silence. No idiot Senators or TDs addressing leftwing racists outside Dáil Éireann. No ministers making comments. The MSN media are doing their best to cover up aspects of the crime like with Sligo.

I for one am sick of it. There public demands the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If these kids are old enough to beat a poor man to death, they are old enough for the truth about who they are, what they did and why they did it to come out.

RIP Alex Coughlan.

Yes absolutely appalling

Dint want to get into to immigration thing here but id like to see the age of criminality reduced to 12 and at the discretion of the DPP to 10. Also mandatory integration classes for new arrivals and a tightening up of the immigration situation.i emailed Roderic O Gorman to ask if he had any comment to make.

Apparently they were using a gay dating app to lure guys into meeting them to be mu_ged and beaten. Could likely be more guys out there who sussed something was off or managed to get away but dont want to come forward

I may be wrong but i think this has been going on for years, think about how many guys have mysteriously turned up drowned in the shannon,no proof of course so no investigations ! If those guys were old enough to do the crime they should be treated as such and nay the full force of the judicial system come down on them like a ton of bricks. Theres no outrage in media about it,if it was a woman the media would be all over it!

City north Dublin

In 1982 a gang of teenage gay bashers nicknamed "the Rollers" killed a gay man, Declan Flynn, in Fairview Park. The gang boasted that they had battered up to 20 "steamers" in the 6 week period prior to the killing.

Gardai were aware of this activity but didn't deem it a priority.

The gang of 5 teenagers, 2 18 year olds, 2 17 year olds and a 14 year old were charged with the killing.

The 14 yo was acquitted but the other 4 were found guilty.

However the judge, Sean Gannon, suspended sentences in full and they walked free. Their families and friends celebrated their freedom by lighting bonfires.

This led to the first Pride March to Fairview Park.

Fast forward to the 2020s and gay men are still being killed because of their sexuality.

It's horrific. We should all contact the Justice Minister telling him enough is enough.
