Anyone ever took a guy to a daytime hotel? I see a few hotels in Belfast that do it, and was wondering would it be something worth considering if it was discreet enough

I went to the Leonardo for a daytime mwet with a woman. It's key carded at reception. So you'd have to book in, wait for the guy and head to the room with him. They corridors are crawling with cleaners who will be cleaning the rooms around you.

So yeah it's an option but its not that discreet.

On the other hand who's likely to be there and recognise you inna guy's company?

Thanks buddy. Funny it was Leonardo that I was looking at.

A lot of reviewers say that they get reception calling the rooms quite a bit.

We never got any calls from reception but it wasn't in any way discreet.

I just book a hotel like usual. Ask to check in around 1.30/2pm. Stay until 7 and hand the keys back in reception. The hotel I pick your caller can go from the carpark straight to the room without the need of a key.

South County Dublin

Depends whether you need a key card to get into the lifts.

That's easy to coordinate tho

Might just take the chance and bring him up with me.

We aren't from Belfast so likelihood of being known is slim.

I do this in a hotel. There are a few about where you don't need the card to get in or you can meet them at the side door and head up without going near reception. But they tend to be more expensive hotels

In that hotel he doesn't have to go near the desk with you. There is a sitting area he can wait. But to get to the rooms you both need to card through.

visiting

I usually book the room as normal

Leave at 7/8 pm

Ring the following day to say I was rushing and didn’t get to check out but checking out now

Dublin good selection of day use - take cash - any email you want to use - a morning or an afternoon booking

West cork area

Leonardo Dublin, day use...lovely air con room...you do need key card to access the door to corridor with rooms, lots of cameras, but no one disturbed us. 4 or 5 staff checking in so no way they remember all faces

There's a useful app, I've used in Sydney before called DayUse,and is very useful for booking short daytime stays. Lots of Irish hotels listed as well, as it's a global app.
