I'm not far either. Stanmore is a desert for cheap hotels but there is a Premier Inn five minutes from Watford High Street railway station.

Has this place improved from my last visit last year? Cause then was kind of nothing there.

You could visit there and let us know maybe, you're closer than I am.

Most places can vary from day to day. I haven't been for over 6 months as I haven't had a window of opportunity, although I should have in a couple of weeks time and will be sure to give it a try. I've managed to have fun around 75% of previous visits.

Well, I went there two days ago. Not very late, I think it was 8 O'Clock. I found a couple of guys having fun under a tree. I left them alone.

I also found a little fun for myself later on.

To be honest not much action. A few cars in the car park but everybody inside. To be honest I don't understand that place and I don't think I'm going back.

I started cruising back in early 80s and you always get warning/rumors of police watching or boy racers etc!

You have to remember these are public areas and of course you will get police patrols and idiots in cars with loud exhausts!

That's the risk you take!
