Bodmin

Not a cottage but used to stay overnight in the Philbeach hotel Earl's Court, had lovely times there, loved being picked up in Jimmy's Bar there and taken for Thai meal next before back to the bedroom!

Underground loo outside Balham Station! Makes you blush thinking about what went on in there. And the one outside the Fire Station near Mount Pleasant Sorting Office. Always needed to leave early if walking past on the way to Sadler's Wells

Dartford had some great places too. Hesketh Park had a tiny cottage that could be intense, and the old loos by the museum were good to be picked up in. But Crayford Way was the best - 24 hours, often no light. All long gone.

That 'tiny cottage' was the first one I ever discovered cutting through the park on my way to the library. Ended uptaking a notebook & copying the filthiest grafiti for further use. The follys of youth

The graffiti in there was astonishing - detail and originality (and so much of it!) Have you still got the notebook?

Sort of wish I had but, sadly, no. Thinking about those walls reminded me of the time I copied one very horny one onto a piece of bog roll for later. It was only when I got home & looked for it I realised I'd slipped it into the back of a library book to keep it flat, hence the notepad. Wondered if the libarians found it or an unsuspecting reader. Was a gay themed novel, called something like The Gemini, so ...

The underground one in Greenwich was usually busy and you could hear anyone coming down the steps so there was time to look respectable. Picked a young lad up in there years ago and we went to a derelict building nearby.very hot day and we were soon naked and kissing and sucking, till he asked me to fuck him, such a gorgeous smooth ass how could I say no

Being near a Barclays, I guess it was bound to be rife! That's the power of Cockney rhyming slang.

When I lived in New Malden years ago I frequented one near the station, never failed to meet. Gave my first BJ there. Also one on Petersham, busy in the evening. And one at Ham gate Richmond park, could be good in the afternoon for young guys.

There was a great documentary years ago probably Channel 4, on cottaging . It festured a guy called Madge North telling ribald stories and showing tricks to not getting caught

Eg standing in a carrier bag so as it only looked like one guy was in the stall

It must be out there somewhere

Happy days

Oh and it featured the ones by the bus stop in Shoreditch

Sheen Putney

There used to be one on the northern end of Wandsworth Common near Trinity Rd. Had my first gloryhole bj in there in my late teens. I only expected to be wanked off. It really made my knees tremble, I had to hold on to the top of the partition.

Holt

There was one that I came across, don't know where it was as I was in cold calling a job I landed after School, but I remember it was next to a bus stop that had a public park next to it and the entrance was down steps, I went in to find about 7-9 guys in there the cubicles had holes in the door that you could stick your head through all had guys in and one clearly had two guys in, I was taken aback a bit as it was in my early days of cottaging to find so many guys having fun it never took long for me to join in and have fun.

Welling

I can remember a number of toilets, in a 5/10 mile radius of Bexley, that I used to visit when younger. Now all, sadly, gone:

Welling (by the library), Bexleyheath (now a funeral directors), Lower Plumstead Road (now a small carpark), Blackfen (the one behind the pub on the crossroads), Erith (the tiled one by the bus stop), the two in Eltham (one near Sainsbury's, the other by the church), Three toilets in/near Greenwich (st Alfege passage, King William Walk, Rodmere Street), Belvedere Village.

There are probably others, but they escape me now.

Recent trip to Croydon reminded me of an amazing cottage behind the main pedestrian area. It was a strange layout with urinals and cubicles as you entered, then a short corridor to a back room with more urinals and a big disabled cubicle. It used to get so busy in there! Also toilets in the underground carpark by the Nestle building.

Great memories, but both gone now
