I used to visit Chariots in Waterloo from time to time and always had some good fun. Now that's closed can anyone recommend an alternative please. Is Pleasuredrome any good, seems to have very mixed reviews as does Sweatbox in Soho.

Chariots Waterloo was my favourite London sauna. I like anal and find Portsea the best for me being older.

Pleasuredrome is Ok for giving oral if you are any good at it. Otherwise expect the guy to move on pretty quickly as there is usually a huge choice of guys. The lack of free private spaces also means you are going to have others barging in. Was there on Thursday sitting in the darkroom in a long kissing session with a cute mixed race guy. Had to endure a couple of ghastly no hopers wanking in our faces until we moved.

You might get lucky - the crowd is unpredictable.

But what definitely is predictable is that the place is a total dump, even after a supposed renovation. Like a penny-pinching simpleton having been in charge of the maintenance for 100 years. Just because it's on the Elisabeth line doesn't make it worth a try.

The Locker Room near Kennington tube station is my favorite.

The ME1 sauna in Rochester is also good one, and is not that far.

The Locker Room is a horrible and uncomfortable place, and I say this having had fun two of the three times I visited that smelly sauna.

Pleasuredome is not worth the visit in my opnion. Expensive and you may find that not all the facilites are working and nobody tells before entering. But to be honest most of the time there are plenty of customers there.

Portsea for my is a joke. I just went once like ten years ago and I found it even ridiculous for a sauna in a city like London. I haven't gone back since then and ignore if it has been renovated.

The Covent Garden Health Spa is nice although small.

Sweat box is just crazy.

And I don't understand why the Sailors isn't more successful. Big enough to get lost there although the jacuzzi and the steam sauna are not really big.

I went yesterday , £23 entrance fee , dirty and showers were blocked , mostly much older crowd (65+) really needs a refurb as the decor is tatty and dirty.

"Anyone been to Portsea Sauna ?

I went yesterday , £23 entrance fee , dirty and showers were blocked , mostly much older crowd (65+) really needs a refurb as the decor is tatty and dirty.

I went once, never again

Cold dirty steam room kept running out of steam

Wasn’t very nice

Personally i steer clear of portsea for the same reasons as the previous post. Fairly rotten experience last time for £23

Yes, Locker Room is very friendly, but outdated, Pleasuredome is modern, but, staff very unfriendly, almost rude, horrible attitude towards customer service.
