"I have always thought Mitcham Common would make a decent cruising area after dark"

Mitcham common is extremely muddy in places, particularly at the Croydon end and would be a nightmare in the dark. I have though had many an encounter while walking there (which I do daily unless raining) mainly around the Watneys rd area (A road closed to traffic) or around the Seven Islands pond
