The fuck tree is easy to find if you follow these simple directions.

Go down the steep, slippery steps at the back of jack Straws castle (it's not jack Straws and it's not actually a castle). At the bottom of the steps turn right. All the area to your left is the also famous 'dark room'. The wide path you are on follow this for less than ten minutes. At this point you'll come to a long left hand bend. About 3/4s way round the bend there is a small path to the right. Follow this small rough path for about no longer than a minute then bare of to your right again (If you reach a dip or trench on the path you've gone too far). About 30secs to a minute in here you'll see the 'fuck tree's. If you don't at this point simply ask any of the many men around for where it is.

During hot, dry weather it's very busy but the cruising area extends well beyond the fuck tree with plenty bushes, secluded areas and big trees to lean against.

I also hope to be there during a hot, dry spell in the summer. I've been a few times before and it's awesome.

I would say no. I can't imagine wearing high heels or thin soles on rough, fitted, rocky and rooted paths and tracks.

That's another tip actually, wear sturdy suitable footwear no matter the weather. On my first visit in daylight to find my bearings, I wore thin soled trainers. After an hour of just wandering around my feet were killing me. I live in a forest and didn't think of this!

Another tip is, if you haven't been before, go in daylight to find your bearings. But behave yourself as children, families, tourists, joggers and cyclists use the area in daylight hours. Use your initiative and common sense.

Since COVID the fuck tree has slowly died.

Most people meet up in the "dark room" at the top now.

I for one do not like it.

But every time I walk down to the fuck tree it's dead!

Hopefully more people will start wondering back down.

Full on fun in dark room doesn't usually happen until it's getting dark but especially so when it is fully dark. Fuck tree area is more open so fun doesn't start until it's actually dark

Plus remember it's Sunday evening . There are usually more there and more happening on Friday and Saturday nights when weather is nice.

The small path 3/4 of the way round is on the LEFT and not the right.

I walked the route this afternoon to familiarise myself as when I've tried it in the dark I've always got lost. The dark room I know but I've always wanted to offer my hole to all cummers at the fuck tree!

Tfl buses website for bus from Hampstead tube station to Jack straws castle. Or as said on previous posts walk 10 minutes from tube station to the castle. If you can't manage that then don't go at all as you won't be able to manage walking through the rough paths the cruising area covers. I live in Scotland and managed to find all this kind of info easily via Google!

I walked to the Heath from Hampstead tube station yesterday afternoon. It took me about 12 minutes. Plus a further 10 minutes walking on the Heath (following directions should above) to get to the fuck tree.

There are 2 bus routes running up North End Road to/from Golders Green tube station.

Yes, to the right of Jack Straws Castle, which used to be a pub, is a pathway that leads down to the extensive cruising area. If you look on Google Maps you can do a virtual walkthrough, as well as planning how to get there.
