I used to use Dean St about 15 yrs ago. I use Archway Sexual Health Centre these days but would imagine the process is similar. Happy to answer any questions if you think I might be able to

I get prep from Dean Street Express, it’s a quick friendly service, but does need to be booked a little in advance.

I use DSE. Brilliant service. Absolutely amazing people. Kind empathetic, non-judgemental and practical.

Not once have they batted an eyelid when I’ve mentioned my number of sexual partners since testing last. In some cases 30+.

Is there a difference between Dean St and Dean St express? Am considering looking into PREP and looked st website. To book an appointment it seems to direct me to the NHS website, I'm assuming this can't be kept anonymous?

Thanks for the info, if I'm honest the NHS link does worry me, I know people say that your GP doesn't need to be informed but the fact it is your records bothers me.

I have never been infected, always STD-free. Went for vaccinations, blood tests and Prep only. I allow them to share my info with other health specialists as an option.

You can’t know you’re ‘STD free’ unless you had no sex for two weeks before the last test, and no sex since the test. If you’re sexually active, it’s impossible to avoid STDs like chlamydia with certainty. If you’ve never caught one, it’s been luck partly.

The last time I had an STD I got it from someone who had ‘STD free’ on their profile - probably in good faith and had been true until then. He’s taken it off now.

You’re only ‘STD free’ until you’re not.

I've used Dean Street for prep for a few years. You can't remain anonymous, and have to give your proper details, but when you open an account with SHL (Sexual Health London) they do not share the information with your GP practice.

I use a free, secure, email address that I only access from my phone. Proton Mail is very good.

I’ve never had any kind of sti’s and I used to take and give bareback from my teens - too my mid twenties and quite often took multiple loads in my local cottage. I’ve sucked cock for the last 38yrs.

Nearly every woman I’ve fucked over the years as been bare sex so I must be one of the lucky ones.

Not true.

I’ve been going there for years and they don’t know my real name, nor my exact address.

I’m wary of being g discriminated against my insurers etc, so gave a false one.

Not nice has it caused an issue.
