Stevenage

Only hamam building I know of is near Liverpool Street but it was a private hire night club and shut last time I passed.

Great building to look at though!

Can anyone recommend some Turkish baths in London for some hot action?

London

Porchester Spa in Bayswater, London.

Historic 1920s Turkish bath house. It is one of the last remaining traditional public Turkish baths in London.

Nice authentic Art Deco architecture, a cold plunge pool, and three graduated Turkish hot rooms (Tepidarium, Caldarium, and Laconium).

Enjoy the bath and massage.

North London (outer)

New Docklands Steam Baths in Canning Town is an eye opener. It's an old school Turkish baths meets Russian banya evidenced by the Cyrillic signs and Eastern European food in the cafe.

It's the last place in London to get proper steam and a decent schmeiss.
