I live on the edge of the park and as the sun was out this afternoon I thought I’d go down and see if the summer cruising deacon has started.

It’s in the woods bordering Albany Road. It’s pretty secluded and you can generally see people coming and cover up if needed.

There are always the same half a dozen or so people there every time I’ve been there - some good, some not, but I’d say that you get quite a lot of action there.

I’m in every summer.

Not really sure because I tend to go on sunny afternoons only. I’ve heard that it can get quite wild after dark, but I’m not sure I’d feel safe going into the woods in the pitch black.

I think so, yes. There’s a little forest as you go into the park on that entrance. The path splits it in two. Usually the better action is to your left hand side as you go into the clearing. A few guys ran a train on my ass there last summer which was really hot. I think maybe 3-4 guys.
