The amount of messages I send having taken the trouble to read a guy’s profile and explain why we might be a match.
When I don’t get a response. A simple ‘no thank you.’ I would much sooner think it isn’t that they’re rude arrogant bastards without any manners. These are important people. Much too busy. Double busy!
I try and respond to most messages, and thank most who wink at me,its just polite
But if they have not read my profile I am less inclined to put any effort in.
And the guy who asked for face photo ( quite rudely) with and photos on his profile will be waiting a long time
I appreciate a decently written introductory message, you only have one chance to make a first impression.
That said, it's easy to compose a standard opening and save to your phone, ready for a copy and paste with maybe a few minor embellishments.
