I was there few weeks ago and there were not many people. Quite quiet. Long walk to the lobby from the lift. Spacious restaurant, with nice sitting areas. Outside the restaurant, there were 4 very striking Art Deco high chairs cum sofas all in white colour. Service at restaurant was slow though there were only a few guests eating.
Answer to your question - Yes it is very easy for friends to visit. But all guests and their visitors staying overnight needs registration for safety and security.
