Reading online and reviews, it seems pretty safe to openly play here 24/7, in the historical cruising area.

Can anyone share any views on it?

Please, no ‘I’ve not been’ or ‘I should check this place out’ pointless comments, not looking to arrange a meet or gauge interest, I’m looking to hear about experience and safety, along with not wanting to cause distress to the general public.

Thanks, safe enough? I’ve been to locations that are tricky, squashed into a bush and a belt buckle in the face. It’s a bit of a trek to go to, but will make the trips is it’s safe, open and easy enough to play naked.

Thanks. How many guys we talking? Groups of 2-3 or we talking a whole host of guys? I’m very much into group play.

It’s very popular. There can easily be 50 people cruising the heath

The dark room is just an area where people congregate on the heath. You’ll probably hear mention of the fuck tree as well. This again is a meeting place on the heath.

There are plenty there during the winter as well. I only visit after dark and usually park on North End Road just past Jack Straw's Castle.

I had my cock sucked and fucked a guy who was bent over a branch in the Dark Room last week, about 9pm. Quite often I'll find someone before I reach the darkroom though, walk 20 metres from the road and quite often you'll find a few guys. All ages, ethnicities and nationalities.

I live in South London but I've been to the heath a few times when I can get there. I've had a great experience every time and never felt unsafe there. It's full of guys looking for sex so the kind of people you're worried about never go there.

The car park is open 24/7, I've never seen them close it. I usually park on the road nearby, there are always spaces at the time of day I visit.

The car park is run by the City of London, and there's a sign up with payment details. I've parked there once or twice but have never paid and never received a ticket, I don't think there are ANPR cameras.

Don't overthink this, just give it a try.
