Im coming up to London in a couple of weeks time and looking to visit either Bunker Bar or the Vault .. but will come straight from work which is dirty .. so whilst possible to have a reasonable douche .. i wont be able to shower or fully clean up .. I believe there are no showers in ether of these venues so does anyone have any suggestions as to somewhere I can clean up prior to going in.

Buy some wet wipes and lock yourself in a cubicle in a public toilet somewhere is all I can think of

I believe there are public showers available for about £5 at Kings Cross Station. IIRC they're near platforms 9-11.

Yes. I can cancur. I thought KX or some other train stations have showers and I know sum service stations do, notable for Long Distance Lorry drivers though that probably doesn't help you? DayUse hotels may also be another if expensive option.
