Does anyone know of any events/clubs etc that host such events? A place where you’re not expected to play but can…

There is Glitter Gurlz at DV8 club in Kent, 3rd Friday of the month. Sheworld in Stratford on every Thursday and Saturday, I believe, and House of Sheba at The Bunker Bar in City Road in London wen 2nd Friday of the month.

I am old enough to remember the drag balls held at Porchester Hall in Queensway London

There were sights there to behold, many Queens grander than the House of Windsor
