Hi folks

Planning on coming to London for a show, going to stop a couple of nights.

Is there an equivalent of Blackpool’s Trades Hotel in London?

The STG Hotel is not seedy but just a large busy hotel with easy access to the rooms without needing to use a keycard to access the lifts or floors. It’s not a place for crushing the rooms but somewhere where you can arrange meets on the usual websites and apps where you can privately give your room number so that you can have visitors come directly to your room. As far as I know there is no other place like Trades Hotel Blackpool in the UK and certainly not in London. There used to be the Philbeach Hotel in Earls Court but that closed almost 20:years ago. The Philbeach certainly was seedy and had quite a notorious reputation. I did stay there a few times during the final few years it was open and it could become quite interesting during the night.

Newbury

Central Station at Kings Cross can be interesting. Checkout their events list in the downstairs bar.
