Are there any really active outdoor cruising spots in and around North Manchester anymore?

I’ve had fun near Rhodes Res/Lake in the past but I don’t know of anywhere else. I found myself visiting the A666 when it was a gorgeous summer but that’s a bit of a trek.

I love a wander knowing there’s a good chance of fun.
