Does anyone have any recommendations what’s the best hotel to stay at if I want anon fun? i.e no key card needed to access to floor, no restrictions on front entrance

The holiday inn express behind printworks has no key card in lift

Yes it is a dump but it's easier for people to come and go especially if your just looking for a room to have some fun and it's cheap compared to other hotels

Britannia hotel stops people after 8pm unless you can prove your a guest, no good if I want it all night

Offshore now, ignore pistcode

Doubletree on Piccadilly. No key card needed. Enter via Store St bar and meet there. Lifts a short walk between the bar and reception. A very busy hotel on the ground floor. Also two minute walk to the station

We're organising a group of guys, so want something which doesn't require key card for the lift. We've done Crowne Plaza in Newcastle before and that's perfect.

A private apartment would be ideal but hard to know what the setup is.

Stayed there many times over the 80s and 90s and it was a great hotel. Stayed there last year thinking it would still be great but what a fucking dump it had come. I wouldn't recommend it to a dog now

reviving this as looking for recommendations too - Motel 1 is a good one perhaps but any others that it'll be reasonably easy to get meets in during the day or early evening!

There is a side door near the car park.

Go through the door straight up the escalator to the lifts.

No need to pass reception.
