Look for Back Lane Car Park Sabden on Google. Tips I can't help you with I'm afraid. It's hit and miss by all accounts.

Why not make your way over now. You might get to see the Aurora (and then some;)

Well said Lancsman, it is a good place there a 3 different Car Parks, the large one on the hill does get a lot of dog walkers when the weather is nice, the one near the junction is more discrete but the have trimmed a lot of the bushes at the top end of the Car Park where you could go wandering for some fun but,

The confusing thing about this place is that it seems to be commonly known as Blackhill Lane. But if you look on Google maps, it's actually called Back Lane.

Apparently there is a gay cruising place over in West Yorkshire called Blackhill Lane.
