I'm not a stranger to Manchester and the Gay Village but can anyone recommend a bar frequented by mature guys?

I'm there early February for a weekend.

Quite a few of the bars in the gay village have a mixed age range. Depends what you're interested in more than anything. Whether you're looking for a quiet one, a drag act or something cruisy etc

Is the Eagle Bar only for special events like NWCP or is it open daily like a regular bar?

What type of clientele does it attract?

It's open every day. There's the lodge upstairs which is more of a chilled space and then there's the large main bar downstairs and black eagle which is very cruisey.

They sometimes close off the main downstairs bar for ticketed or other events but usually at least the black eagle is open as normal.

You might need to sign up for a free membership online if you're going in the evening or if it's busy as technically it's a members only venue.
