- fairly small place, old pub that was converted.

- downstairs has locker room, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and coffee lounge

- upstairs has showers, porn cinemas, Dutch ovens, slings, glory hole's and various cabins

- very limited parking at entrance, at night business next door allows you to use their car park, otherwise street parking on nearby industrial estate

- buses X1, X2 and X17 go there

- open Sunday to Thursday midday to 11pm. Standard entry price £15 includes locker key and one towel. Price reduced to £10 at 7pm and £5 at 9pm. Under 25s £5 all day

- Friday open two sessions, midday to 9pm and 9pm to 2am. Standard entry price £15, under 25s £5 daytime session only. The £10/£5 late arrival discounts apply at 5pm and 7pm but must be out at 9pm. Friday night party alternates between cum union (bareback sex) and bears night.

Jacuzzi and steam room been closed for maintenance since before Christmas, hopefully work will be done soon, I keep checking their website. At least they aren't charging full price to get in

Yeah, floor not been great. Problem is with the recent weather people are walking in with grit on their shoes and you have to walk round to the lounge with shoes on to return key and towel. I've noticed some people have been wearing socks or sandals recently!

Last time I got a peek through through curtain it looked like the whole thing had been ripped out and all the infrastructure underneath was being rebuilt!

At least the steam room is open following refurbishment, the sauna still works and the entry price is still the discount "repair day" rate of £10 rather than the normal £15 (except for Friday night parties).

Jacuzzi is still closed as it's being rebuilt, everything else including steam room is available. Entry price for all sessions except Friday night reduced to £10 at the moment until Jacuzzi is reopened.

Such a shame the Bears night doesn’t start until 9pm. It’s quite a barrier for those travelling from other cities by train and wanting to return the same night rather than book a hotel - especially as it’s not that central so involves additional travel to/from the train station.

My only ever visit to The Boiler Room was for the 'pissladz' (as it was actually called) event on the fourth Friday of the month, pre-covid. The event itself only started in the evening (about 7.30pm) I think and was seperate from the normal daytime event. I arrived there about 11am, just on opening time and I paid for both events, daytime and evening. I also paid extra to hire my own private room too. I had a brilliant time there but due to the distance involved and the fact they no longer have the pissladz event, I haven't been since.

I'd agree regarding publicity/promotion - could do better - however comments regarding website aren't quite right- up to date with the service status and £10 entry offer whilst jacuzzi is being rebuilt.
