Went this afternoon, for a tenner it was worth it, lovely and warm inside and jacuzzi inviting. The cafe area's been spruced up a bit, and was busy; the only downside was the shower doesn't send water where you want it!

If they could sell beer (or bring your own) I would stay a lot longer, otherwise an hour or so and then off to the local pubs.

I recall visiting Acqua Sauna, Honeycombs (now a mixed sex place I believe with a different name) and Wet Wet Wet as it was originally known

WWW at that time was almost clinical.

I'm thinking 20 years ago?

Just after it opened

Changed for the better it seems

Honeycombe was the main place

Aqua Sauna had just been taken over by, I think, a Spanish outfit and was clean, warm and lively

As was Honeycombe

Honeycomb was amazing until they sold it to build flats.

Aqua has gone downhill due to the lack of investment over the last 20 years.

W3 has regular updates to keep it fresh.

W3 will eventually move to new premises when the council find a venue that is acceptable to the owner.

Where W3 is now is all being redeveloped.

I don’t think Honeycomb had a pool it was a couple of houses knocked into one big sauna. Did have a large jacuzzi though, are you thinking of a swingers club near Cocker St ?

Whenever I go to Blackpool I visit both W3 and Aqua. I agree that W3 is cleaner than Aqua, but I rarely have any fun at W3 and always have fun at Aqua. You pay your money and make a choice.

Thanks. I’ve never been there so maybe I’m just mixing it up in my head with Darleston - the only other pool I’ve been to at a sauna. The place I’m thinking of had really small individual showers like in a house rather than the open large ones usually seen in saunas.

So...I'm going to blackpool in a weeks time....having weighed up the reviews of both aqua and w3, I believe I'm more likely to get action at aqua....my question is, (and I know days vary), but what time am I most likely to get lots of guys there?.....also, is it fair game for sex in all places or are some areas "off limits "?

Have to say I had a good afternoon in Aqua on Friday 28th march. Got there around 4 and found quite a few already in. The usual older crowd but also some younger. Good fun in the Glory holes. Some T Gurl action and an opportunity to fuck a couple of guys. I had an audience for the second lad and an onlooker decided to remove my condom and help clean up. The guy running the place has no personality but does an efficient job so it’s all good. Yes it’s run down but if better supported who knows.
