I've had all kinds off guns in my time, air rifles and pistols, .22 target rilfes and pistols, .410, 20 bore and 12 bore shotguns. Once had a .22 Savage centre fire bolt action. Calmed down a lot in my old age and now have a dog!

Had loads of pistols and a few rifles in my time. From .22 up to 50cal. Mainly pistols though, 9mm, 357, 38, 41, 44, couple of 1911 45s.

Used to teach firearms training. Most I do now is run around the woods pretending to shoot people with airsoft. Good fun. And nobody dies.

I was once upon a time an RAF marksman. Have used .303 rifles and Bren gun. Have done .303 rifle shooting on a 3 mile range on Salisbury Plain which was fun. We took turns manning the trenches under the butt's, using a red triangular pointer to show the shooter where the bullets had hit the target. You had to use a telescope and our rifles had telescopic sights. The holes appeared in target before we heard the shot fired.I have a .22 air rifle still for pest control on my property

Air rifles have a 12ft/lb limit and pistols a 6 ft/lb without the need of a firearms license anything above these limits would require the license

I've manned the butt's at altcar ranges a few times after I've shot. The crack as the bullet flies in is captivating.
