Not naming any names but there is some Orgy usually in St Helens the guy charges. It’s open written on his varis best 20 ever spent. Fab is supposed to be a free site and could do without parasites like him. Quite a few people will back me up on this! He had it in for me as I refuse to attend and be any part of that be warned.

Someone charging the guests in his house, to cover his expenses, has nothing to do with Fab being a free site.

Although I'd like to be lucky enough to be invited to one, I suspect it's very unlikely but there are at least a couple of venues I know of that can certainly handle groups. And if they charge, well that's fair enough.

Then again I suppose it depends on how many want to join in....

He messaged me and was hosting in a hotel room/ apartment that was hired for the event.

That was what the charge was for.

I did not go as not interested in TVs.

Fabguys is free..this is separate..

Why should it bother you if groups of people are meeting and agreeing a nominal payment? at least it shows they're genuine

I think you don't realise you're actually giving him free advertisement as not many offended, and totally individuals choice whether to go along and pay or not

If covering cost of a room/venue I wouldn't see that as breaking any rules etc...if trying to profiteer without being properly set up as a licensed business (sauna etc) then I have an issue

I went to one in Hartlepool years ago, must've been 20 people there, and enough food and drink for all, buffet style...

It was free, but people, including me, were saying you should charge to come in, at least enough to cover costs

personally I wouldn't allow 20 strangers in my house and bedrooms for any amount...and hence why they're pretty rare, I think those prepared to open their house should be appreciated...personally speaking

I'm not sure what the issue is here whether Fab is a free site or not, and by the way I pay for my Fab membership. If someone is offering someone with a charge then surely it is up to each individual to decide whether they want to pay and attend or give it a miss.

Does it introvene any Fab rules? If not, let them get on with it.

yeh, fab is a great, free site for initial introductions..they won't be concerning themselves with what people get up to in their own homes after that ...

It can be free, but like yourself, I think it's worth paying for the Silver membership thing, still cheap as chips
