Not sure they would have had grounds to arrest you just for cross dressing, even being naked isn't an offence unless there's a complaint made or you are being sexual. Sounds like a copper having a bad day and throwing his weight around to me. But decent of you to flag up a warning.

I would assume that the officer believed the OP wasn't there just to sit in his car, and warned him before any offence was committed. Possibly due to complaints from members of the public.

I did wonder if that was aimed at me. If so I'm proud to be a leftie. I'm old enough to remember when almost all m2m activity was persecuted. I was prosecuted some 30 years ago for gross indecency (cottaging) and the legislation which swept much of that away was brought in by a left wing government.
