Great advice from others already but I would just go and give it a try on a day that suits you as there is never a guarantee....evenings in general tend to be very quiet though. As others have said, Sundays and stripper days are probably biggest chances of it being busier, and usually from around 12PM until around 3PM - go and give Empire a try.

I’m not familiar with Hudds and the one-way system is shocking but I found Cambridge Road car park (just off the ring road) cheap and about ten mins walk from the Empire. I think you are under time pressure at Tesco.
