"What's it like in the evening at Boilerroom..particularly on Naked days. Ive been to Friday evening events. But not in the evening other times. Im visiting Sheffield on a Tuesday soon but busy all day so wondered if its worth going in the evening" Hit and miss really. Sometimes dead, Sometimes good, seems to have been improving recently. | |||

"When it was the Bronx they had a TV night which was popular?" Yes I was a regular top there then in first Thursday. It was a shame that the new owners seemed very anti Tvs. First they introduced an additional tv night ie 2 a month rather than one. But as most of the attendees were married guys who couldn't attend that often all that did was reduce the attendance at each event and then they stopped it saying they weren't popular. Additionally now having naked days three times a week also precludes dressers from attending those days too. | |||

The great thing is you can hang out in the sauna, hot tub or coffee lounge and get chatting to other guys until you feel confident enough to head upstairs where most of the fun is! Tell the guy on the front desk it's your first time and he'll explain how it all works and hopefully make you feel welcome. | |||

But I'll pop along on non naked days next time....maybe I'll get lucky Oh but only if they start taking cash" Can't see them taking cash in the future..no idea why they now card only. I suppose it avoids staff pocketing takings. And saves time cashing up each day. But they must have lost a lot of bi married guys. | |||

" Will be like a lot of businesses that are card only these days I imagine - cost of cash handling. You have to buy change from the banks to make floats for the till, pay staff extra hours to prepare float in till and cash up after close, there's cost of transporting cash taken to the bank (local branches are a thing of the past) and insurance premiums are higher if cash is held on the premises. | |||

They claim to stay open until 11 so I presume it must be worth it. I do intend going tomorrow evening anyway unless I get a firm meet sorted . | |||
